In addition to completing his doctorate in human chiropractic, Dr. Laursen underwent an additional 240 hours of training and education through the Animal Chiropractic Education Source. This program stands as one of the few schools approved by the AVCA (American Veterinary Chiropractic Association) to adequately train and educate either veterinarians or chiropractors to work on animals with safety and effectiveness. Dr. Laursen also holds credentials and certification from the AVCA. He successfully passed both a written exam and hands-on practical exam to earn this distinction.
